The following homemade product is extremely effective in cleaning and whitening your grout and tiles, and the best part is that it is made with common household items.
For its preparation, make sure you have the following ingredients:
- One teaspoon of liquid dish soap
- Half a cup of baking soda
- A quarter cup of hydrogen peroxide
It is very simple to prepare, all you have to do is to mix the ingredients in a small squeeze top bottle. The hydrogen peroxide will whiten and clean the stains on your tiles since it acts as bleach. When it comes to baking soda, it will act as disinfectant which will eliminate harmful bacteria due to its antimicrobial properties. Moreover, it will absorb the water deposits as well and it will eliminate unpleasant odors.
For easier stains, just apply the solution on a soft wet sponge and scrub the tiles and bathroom areas with it. In the end, rinse with water.
On the other hand, for deeper cleaning, apply the mixture on the grout and tiles and allow it to act for 5-10 minutes so that it dissolves all of the dirt. After that, the stains will be easily removed.
If there is still some dirt residue, rinse and repeat the process.

Prepare a mixture with water and ACV in ration 1:1 and pour it in a spray bottle next to the shower. Spray down with this solution right after showering, and to get the best results, repeat this 2-3 times per week.
