Baked Banana With Cinnamon & Honey
Over-ripe bananas are not the tastiest thing on Earth, and you usually throw them in the thrash. Throwing away food is not smart, and it is your money that end up in the trash can. Well, you may want to reconsider this, because we are about give you the most delicious breakfast idea ever.
Have you ever tried baked banana? This could easily replace your regular breakfast. You can add baked bananas to your porridge, Weetabix, eat them with your toast, yoghurt, dipped in ice cream… Baked (barbequed) bananas are so versatile!
1 ripe banana
2 tsp. honey
The first thing you need to do is preheat your oven to 200°C or get your BBQ ready.
Cut the banana into bite-sized chunks or use whatever method you find good for your presentation. Cut it lengthwise if you are making an ice cream banana split.
Place the banana on tin foil, and sprinkle some cinnamon on top.
Drizzle about 2 teaspoons of your delicious honey. Press the ends of the foil together, and create a tiny banana parcel.
Place your banana parcel in the oven. Bake for 15 minutes.
Bake the banana to your liking. Keep in mind that the more you bake it, the softer it gets, and the honey caramelizes perfectly.
