We all know how dangerous cancer can be, so it is good to know all the signs and symptoms that can appear on our skin in order to catch it in an early stage. Luckily, there are several types of cancer that will manifest themselves with some visible signs on your skin. If we diagnosed it early, it can be slowed down and treated, but if not, it can be lethal.

According to new British studies, some of the early signs will be visible on your skin and can be easily detected leading to a possible recovery.

Here are some of the early signs of cancer

Sore that becomes rusty and easily bleeds

This type of sores can indicate several types of skin cancer such as basal cell carcinoma, melanoma and/or squamous cell carcinoma.

Fingernail changes

If you have a certain type of cancer, there will be some changes on your fingernails. For instance, if you notice unusual enlargment at the ends of the fingernails, it can be a sign of lung cancer. If your nails become pale and white, is it a symptoms for liver cancer, and if there are black or brown stains down the nails, it is a sign of skin cancer.

Nipple changes

If you notice your nipples are changed, like they are flattened, inverted or sideways, it can be a symptom of breast cancer. Do not hesitate to consult your doctor to get more professional information.

Lumps or Bumps

Due to the fact that many types of cancer cause changes in the lymphatic system which leads to lumps and bumps, people are terrified from them.

Bruising or Bleeding that can’t be stopped

If you notice some signs in form of bleeding and bruising, it can be a symptom of leukemia. Red blood cell starts to function abnormally which can lead to blood clotting.

Swollen Face

Another symptom for lung cancer is swollen face, so if you experience swelling on your face, check immediately with your MD.

Swollen Breast

If you start experiencing swollen breast, red sores and itches, it is very likely that you have breast cancer, so go and consult your doctor right away.
