All of us have experienced backpain once in our lives. Unlike popular belief that we need to rest, it is very important to be active during this period. Over exessive rest can cause the opposite effect- it can lead to depression, weakening of the muscles and it can even lead to blood clotting in the veins of the legs. Therefore we must be active.
We can also use natural remedies to aid the pain or massage the area with it.
Natural remedies for back pain
Clay is very rich in mineral salts, as well as aluminum, potassium, sodium, iron, copper, silver, lead and magnesium. This makes it a great remedy for back and joint pain.
Mix clay with bread, water, vinegar and nettle and using a nylon or towel, place it on the effected area. First massage the area with olive oil and use this mixture for 7 days to see results.
You can make tea from figs and dried plums to help the pain since it regenerates the tissue, which makes the spine stronger and firmer. For best results, drink this tea every night. To prepare it -soak 5 dry prunes, 1 apricot and 1 fig in water and strain it when it’s done.
Use black garlic and potatoes to aid your pain. Potatoes help for reducing the swelling and
promote muscle relaxation, accelerate their work and give heat.
Garlic encourages the circulation, brings a great influence on the movement. It contains sulfur.
Mix grinded potatoes and garlic and place them to the affected area with a sterile gauze pad overnight. For disc herniation apply garlic cooked in oil. Combine it with milk to treat sciatica. Drink 2l every day for best results.
Cabbage -first massage the area with olive oil then wash the leaves and roll them and place and tighten it with an ordinary gauze or linen cloth. Keep it for 3 hours for 6 days.
You can mix half a kilo of clay with 1l mineral water, add 3 tbsp apple cider vinegar and place it where needed. Place cabbage leaves and leave it for 12 hours.
