This is because while cooking eggs, it is removed the outer layer that covers the shell – which makes it vulnerable to air, bacteria and other things that can contaminate the egg and endanger our health.

Hard-boiled egg can stay fresh up to 7 days, but when is peeled – it will stay fresh only for 5 days.

To be taken care of boiled eggs are safe to eat, cool them immediately after cooking, preferably in a container with ice and immediately put them in the fridge.

A clear sign that the eggs you eat are rotten is the smell. If you notice that boiled eggs have an unpleasant odor reminiscent of sulfur, immediately throw them away.
