I always knew that cumin is an amazing Indian herbal spice with tons of health benefits, but I never did some research on  it, after one day I met my one of Ayurveda physician friend who asked me to do R & D and write something about cumin. When I started reading thoroughly about this spice, I simply got astouned about this wonder spice. This spice is one of the vital spices in Indian kitchen and part of their daily diet. Jeera

Beside being helpful in the weight loss process, cumin is also beneficial for several common health issues and few are listet later in this post.

Acidity: in order to prepare a powder, you should mix cumin, coriander and sugar all 3 in equal amounts. Get rid of acidity by taking 2-2 teaspoons of this powder every morning with plain water.

Acidity:  take a pinch of raw cumin and keep into mouth for a short period of time and swallow later on if you want to feel instant and quick relief from acidity.

Indigestion: prepare a mixture of equal amounts of cumin, black pepper, long pepper, dry ginger and rock salt and grind them into fine powder. Now have a table-spoon of this powder with fresh water after meals to cure dyspepsia related issues.

Loose Motion: Add five grams of roasted and grind cumin in a glass of yogurt. Stir it properly and have to get relive from loose motion.

Intestinal Worms: in order to kill intestinal worms, you should prepare a combination of 15 grams of cumin and 400ml of water, boil the mixture until it’s left only 100ml and drink 20 to 40 ml of it in the morning and in the evening.

Vomiting: Take one tablespoon of fine powder roasted cumin with honey after meals on a daily basis in order to cure chronic vomiting.

Cough and Colds: Cumin has the ability to take away dry and frozen phlegm in chest and thoracic region and to relieve from cough and colds due to its antiseptic components. All you have to do is to boil cumin seeds in a glass of water and drink it.

Insomnia: If you are tormented by sleep disorder then simply take half teaspoon of roasted cumin powder and mash with banana and eat daily after dinner.

Stomach-ache and Body aches: in order to obviate stomach-ache and body aches in general, you should take 3-3 grams of the fine grind cumin powder twice on a daily basis with lukewarm water.

Anemia: Regular intake of cumin will help you prevent anemia and iron deficiency health issues because it is one of the best sources of iron. Cumin works like nectar for pregnant women who require increased quantity of iron in blood and body throughout gestation.

Liver Detox: Consume cumin on a regular basis because it will help you detoxify your liver, the entire body and will make them healthier and stronger.

Diabetes: You can manage your blood sugar levels by simply taking grind cumin with a glass of water twice on a daily basis. It is very beneficial for diabetes patients.

Constipation: In order to prepare mixed powder, you should combine cumin, curry powder, black pepper and dry gunger. Next, combine it with ghee/butter and ass salt as per taste and have with rice. It’ll clear bowel moment and relive from constipation.
