Scars are areas of fibrous tissue that replace normal skin after injury, and are a result of the biological process of wound repair in the skin and other tissues of the body. They can occur inside and outside of the body – for example, they are present on internal organs that were cut during surgery, and develop after skin conditions such as acne.
When the skin is broken, the body produces more collagen which accumulates in the damaged tissue and heals the wound. For about 3 months later, new collagen forms and the blood supply increases, making the scar lumpy and red. Afterwards, some of the collagen breaks down at the site, the blood supply reduces and the scar becomes smoother and paler.
There’s no way to avoid a scar after injury, but luckily for you, we have a natural cream that can help you get rid of scars in just weeks! Instead of using expensive (and ineffective) scar removal creams, try this homemade recipe which contains no chemicals and has adverse side-effects. Here’s how to prepare it:
Mix a tablespoon of both ingredients and apply the cream on the scar, leaving it to work for about half an hour. Repeat the process every day until you notice results.
Note: when applying the mixture on your face, clean it off with warm water after 10 minutes!
